Britischer GameCube legt kräftig zu

Nach der Preissenkung in England scheint der GameCube reißenden Absatz zu finden. Mit einem neuen Preis von 79 Pfund (115 Euro) sind an den beiden letzten Tagen der vergangenen Woche über 400 Prozent mehr Spielekonsolen aus dem Hause Nintendo über die Händlertische gewandert.

Leider hat Nintendo keine absoluten Zahlen veröffentlicht – bisher waren die GameCube Verkäufe in England immer relativ schwach und der Würfel liegt auf der Insel hinter der PS2 und der Xbox. Doch nach den besseren Verkäufen in den USA (wir berichteten) und nun England, scheint Nintendo auf einem guten Weg nach oben zu sein.

Sicherlich werden wir auch bald positive Nachrichten aus Deutschland bekommen, denn am Freitag wird der Preis auch hier offiziell auf freundliche 99 Euro gesenkt, einige Geschäfte beteiligen sich bereits seit Samstag aktiv an der Preissenkung.
